House Pages

House Captains are important Ambassadors/Representatives for our school. Each September our Year 6 children apply for the position of House Captain; the Headteacher and year 6 teachers select one representative from each House who will best represent our school and our values.  Children earn tokens throughout each term, and the winning team each term is allowed to come to school in non-uniform of the last day of term.

Children in the school are divided into 4 equal teams (we try to keep siblings in the same team to prevent family rivalry)

• Solsbury - Blue
• Lansdown - Yellow
• Bannerdown - Red
• Lyncombe - Green

Children are awarded points not only for good work but also for:

• effort,
• attitude,
• politeness,
• courtesy,
• kindness,
• honesty, and
• upholding our school values.

These values are equally important to us as good work.
