Parent Forum

The Parent Forum meets once a term and offers a good ways for families to have a direct input into School policy, community and curriculum.

The Parent Forum is valued by the School because it enables School to work closely alongside parents on key matters that affect the day to day life in School. Recent topics have included PSHE policy, congestion in Combe Down, behaviour policy, homework and school lunches. Each meeting has provided a respectful backdrop for parents to raise concern or support for School policy and for School to challenge preconceptions and ideas that parents might have.

Mrs Bird and Mr Wainer run the parent forum with a team of two parents who help with the administration and planning of each meeting. It has been incredibly powerful in the past and continues to be so today.
