What we are doing
PTA Charity Status
The PTA legally needs to have charitable status because our turnover is more than £5000 per year. This will also enable the school to apply for additional grant funding.
The National PTA association has a model constitution which, if we adopt it in its entirety, means that we could be a charity within two weeks of application. First reading by the PTA committee and the school has not revealed any concerns. The constitution is available on the school website and if anyone has any comments the PTA would welcome them within the next two weeks. Please e mail Margaret Heath: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
To adopt the constitution we need to have an Extraordinary General Meeting and this will be held on Tuesday 9th February 2010 at 2.45pm in the Hall foyer. Tea will be served!

The PTA raises funds by organizing fun events for the children, parents and local community and provides a relaxed forum for parents and the school to communicate.
We organize many social events including:
- Christmas Fair
- Summer Fair
- Girls’ Night In
- Barn Dance
- School Discos
- Balloon Race
- Quiz Nights
