Who we are

The Parent Teacher Association, or PTA, is a voluntary organisation whose primary role is to help raise additional funds for the school.

If you have a child at Combe Down Primary, you are automatically a member of the PTA and all members have an equal say.

It is your choice how involved you want to be, but the more parents that get involved, the more ideas and energy we have to make our children’s learning experience even better.

The PTA is run by a committee that is voted in each school year in the autumn: once this year's elections are completed, the names will be published so that you know who to contact.

How to contact the PTA

There is a PTA parent representative for each class: see the class teacher or teaching assistants to find out who it is for your child's class.
