News from Foundation Stage

Breaking News - Reception are awarded the Bristol Standard Awarded for a third year running!

We are pleased to announce that our Foundation Stage classes have been awarded The Bristol Standard for a third year running.

Mr Wainer would like to thank the hard work of the Foundation Stage Team for making this happen once again. He would like to thanks Mrs Phillips for helping to achieve the award from January to July 2009, and Mrs Jemmett from September 2009 to the present. Thank you to Mrs Stevenson for making our presentation look so beautiful.

The Bristol Standard is a self-evaluation framework to help individual settings to improve on their previous best. It involves working together on developments to improve outcomes for all children and families and takes a year to complete.

In using the Bristol Standard, practitioners become part of a process that protects and celebrates the wonder of childhood through well-informed and reflective practice.

The School has been awarded the Bristol Standard in:

2008-2009 - Mr Wainer/Mrs Phillips
