Mrs Sue Jemmett

Class Teacher, RJ

Mrs Jemmett has, in the past, spent many happy years teaching Reception children and helping them settle into the whole routine, but more recently her time has been taken up with Year 3 and challenging topics such as World War I and the Ancient Egyptians. She is our only teacher who worked in the previous school buildings in Church Road! She therefore has a wealth of experience and some very interesting memories.

Cookery is one of Mrs Jemmett's skills which she shares with the children in her club every Thursday after school. She also enjoys walking, reading and gardening. If she hadn't become a teacher, she says, she might well have gone on to be a travel writer. Maybe not such a good idea seeing as she once got lost on a Sunday School trip!

Mrs Jemmett is the subject leader for RE.

Biggest Achievement?
Gaining a B grade in a recorder exam!
