News from Key Stage 1
Year 1 explore the polar regions!
Last Tuesday Year 1 went to Bristol Zoo to explore the Polar regions as part of their topic this term. The children went in an igloo, a white and icy igloo and met a new friend, a soft and furry Chinchilla! They learnt many facts and were able to explore artefacts from the region such as a stuffed polar bear, some wolf's fur and a Narwhal whale's tooth. The children really enjoyed the trip and were a credit to the school - well done Year 1!
Key Stage 1 Cinema Night!
Cinema Night is Friday 16th October!
KS1:-3:30pm-5:00pm
Tickets will be on sale in the book fair starting on (Monday 12th till Wednesday 14th after school at the price of £2.50 after the book fair they will be on sale in the hall foyer.
The Cinema Night is going to be run by the Year Sixes to raise money for the Residential trip (PGL).
Refreshments will be available and there will be popcorn and lollies that will included in the price.
With the little ones there will be Year Sixes to look after them.
