vMrs Vanessa Tilbury

Class Teacher, 6T

She's all-singing, all ballroom-dancing, and speaks very good French too! Italy is a favourite holiday destination, and what finer way to practise the odd operatic octave? (A bit of a contrast to Cornwall where she once had to be rescued by the lifeguard - totally unnecessarily, she adds).

An equally interesting fact about Mrs Tilbury is her desire to be chief curator for the Elvis Presley Archives in Graceland, Memphis. It may be a Burning Love of hers, but it's still Way Down on her list!

Mrs Tilbury is subject leader of Geography and deals with all things related to Healthy Schools.

Mr John Shack

Class Teacher 6S

Mr. Shack can remember a day, in 1992, when he decided he wanted to be a teacher. After studying at a university in Ohio USA, he took some time to travel the world before entering the classroom. He has not been disappointed and thoroughly enjoys the privilege of working with children every day.

Mr. Shack is constantly hungry and loves food (it is fortunate that he enjoys being active so much)! He watches and plays many sports and loves the great outdoors.

Miss Joanna Robinson

Teaching Assistant, Year 6

Jo graduated from Manchester Met Uni in 2010 with a degree in Coaching and Sport Development, and worked as a Community Sports Coach for a while. Jo then decided it was time to return south working as a supply Teaching Assistant.

Jo currently works in Year 6 across both classes and enjoys the wide range of experiences each day. In her spare time (when not walking her hugely energetic puppy) she still enjoys sport - swimming and netball mostly.

She loves holidaying with the family in Cornwall and sightseeing in more exotic places when possible.
