All of Mrs Witty's children have attended Combe Down, so she knows (and is well known by) many of the pupils here. This is fortunate, as, being stationed in the Office, she is a first port of call for children's questions, requests for help, and the occasional plaster! Even so, she always manages to stay friendly, helpful and humourous.

Mrs Witty and her family love skiing in the holidays, and she's pleased to say she's never broken any bones on the slopes.  

Karen Blakemore

Mrs. Blakemore came to help us out for two months in 2009 - and has been with us ever since! With a working knowledge of many different computer programmes picked up during her years working for a Financial Adviser and in a Secretarial Bureau, Mrs. Blakemore can turn her hand to most computer-based things, but don't ask her to do anything artistic. She was once playing Pictionary with friends and everyone thought her pony looked like a dog.....!

The USA is her family's favourite holiday destination as the weather is usually warm and sunny, and the theme parks are fantastic fun! After a busy day in the school office Mrs. Blakemore likes to relax by reading (ideally an Agatha Christie) or watching a good film.
