Welcome to Combe Down Church of England Primary School and thank you for visiting our website. Whether you are visiting as a prospective pupil, parent, teacher or volunteer we hope that it gives you an insight into our school.
We are located on the south eastern edge of the city of Bath in the old stone mining village of Combe Down; it is a beautiful semi-rural setting.
Combe Down is a happy, family school in which we encourage pupils and adults to have a caring, considerate and respectful attitude towards one another. Within a strong Christian ethos we recognise and value the uniqueness of every child, helping all to achieve their best within a safe, secure and creative environment.
The school has a good reputation for providing a broad, balanced, creative and exciting curriculum within a very supportive ethos. We aim for our children to aim high in all they do, to enable them to learn skills, knowledge and develop concepts that will help them grown into positive, responsible people who can work and co-operate with others and hopefully be better equipped for life in our ever changing society. This is made possible by our hardworking and committed team of teachers, support staff, parents and Governors.
