Poetry Day, May 2022

Our poetry day was wonderful!

Thank you to Mrs O’Neill, Mrs King and Miss Coles for the organisation of this great experience for the children.

We learnt signs for the animals in our whole school poem, Nature Trail, thanks to Mrs Pothecary.

Children were inspired to write their own poems and spoke knowledgeably about poetry.

he workshops in Year 5 & 6, led by Sophie Dumont were amazing and Sophie was impressed by the children’s engagement. Thank you to Sophie for the generous gift of her time and expertise.
